AVSWCD congratualtes Arthur Dunlap as Director at Large of the Maine Association of Conservation Districts.  The newly elected Executive Board of the Maine Association of Conservation Districts reflects the wide range of expertise within the leadership of these Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs). One member is a resident of Poland.  Arthur Dunlap and wife are special friends of the Shriners and Maine Public Broadcasting Network, Art served as CEO for the town of Poland and is Chair of the Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District.  His experience with stormwater management and soil erosion control needs in town development will bring a valued expertise to this Executive Board.

We do this by providing, leadership, technical assistance and educational programming.
