Maine Farm-A-Syst
Farmstead Assessment System
(Draft)
This is a voluntary program put into place to help owners of farms and large properties identify opportunities specific to their property and land use that could use some best management practices to protect groundwater & drinking water supplies. By choosing to participate in Farm-A-Syst they will receive the necessary tools to assess their property and help to recognize what is being done right as well as things that could use improvement.

Remember: This is to help protect groundwater which is used for drinking water. No information used in this program will lead to enforcement. Conservation Districts are here to serve and help the people of their districts and by working with them should not lead to passing information on to enforcement agents.
***This program is still in it's testing stage and all forms are subject to change***
